This book's introduction gives the personal history of the author, and the struggle she and the family experienced before the doctors discovered that it was kidney failure. The book also tells of her struggle when she came home, and how her own knowledge as a nurse helped with her recovery. There are numerous testimonials. The book has a total of 9 chapters telling how the cranberries help the body where there are infections present or to avoid infections, e.g. indwelling bladder catheters, wheelchair patients, etc. At the end of the book there is also a Glossary giving the meaning of some of the medical terms used. This book is packed with information and help and is well worth the $10.00 cost.
